At my place the sun was out by a little after noon and that white stuff was gone. In my 50 something years I think we had had some snow in Dec about 30 times but alas, not on the 25th. Very close a few times but not on the 25th that at least I can remember.

I remember 2 specific white Christmases in Sherman. Around 1963 or 64 we had snow on the ground on Christmas day. My cousin and I had gotten identical remote control cars and pretty well ruined them the first day by driving them in the snow. Then, on Christmas Eve in 1975 or 76 it was snowing and the family had a snowball fight at midnight.

Well in Texas you could have a lot of snow in one location and 40 to 50 miles away (Sherman to Plano) nothing. I do remember the "snow of 64". The one I am talking about was not at Christmas but in Jan or Feb. 12" in Ft. Worth. School was closed down for 3 days.

Well,

I will be in Paris France for Christmas this year!!!!!! Yahoo.... looking forward to getting there Christmas day and staying until Jan 2. Lucky me. I am hoping to see snow there!!!!!
