Don't know if this has ever been posted before but I ran across this searching through my old A/D issues ...

It's a '55 or '56 ,but sure looks good in the driveway.

I think it is a `55. Can't see a side vent door in the front fender.

Definately a 55, I saved it to "My Pictures" blew it up and there are no side vents for air intake into the passenger compartment.

I noticed that there is an Australian flag on the pole? Is it Florida?

Dot, I have boxed those issues up to deliver to the NC State Design School but I will open it up and retrieve it ... The Design School Library wants the extra copies so I save them for their collection.

Peacock Blue is a '56 color. It's more likely Thunderbird Blue the '55 color, unless it was repainted in the '56 color. It's always hard to tell from photos, as the color can look very different due to photo processing/printing.

Are you sure this is a '57?? I magnified the picture and noticed that the extreme end of the left rear fender showing, does not have the small flair on it that made the small rear fender fins the '57's all had. Looks like a '55 -or- a '56, IMHO..........
