Help - need winter storage ideas

Not me, but someone asked me:

Hello, need advise - 2003 thunderbird will go to chicago soon - bad winters and will be outside - how can I protect the car? Any ideas? Any ideas about good repair shops in that area?

I live in this area and you don't want to have your Tbird a DD in this area especially during the Winter months. They put tons of salt on the roads and it will ruin your car fast. Best bet is to keep your TBird garaged and leave it there till Spring rains have washed all the salt away. Buy yourself a beater to drive or use public trans. if you're working in the City. Lots of good Ford dealers all over as far as service goes. Leroy
