    If you could change 1 thing on your T-bird...

    As long as we are dreaming.... What one thing would you have wanted the design team at Ford to change on your T-bird? This should be interesting.
    At first, I thought of a supercharger option or a 6 speed manual transmission. But I've never used all the horsepower on mine yet, and the 6 speed would be out of the question for my wife Linda [the car is supposed to be for her to drive]. I guess I would want an odometer that doesn't register any miles so I could drive all miles I want with out the car getting older.

      I little bigger cabin would make it more comfortable This ones the same as my '56

        If I still had mine, definitely a manual 5 or 6 speed transmission.

              Hey Phil, I like the convertible hardtop idea. I suppose if they took the rag top away , a multi-piece hardtop would fit.and still have a little trunk room.

                  I installed on of these a few years ago that also has the temp included. I use the temp sensor to show the cabin temp while the HVAC shows the outside temp. But the primary purpose if the compass.

                    Roll bars behind the seats as a safety issue and a different style of headrests. Just don't like the shape of these round squared off drums. They don't blend into the seats.

                      5.0 Mustang engine. I love the sound. It has the best exhaust sound of any car on the road. Plus the added horsepower also is a plus. Anyone else agree?

                        Bigger trunk.

                        Handling equal to my LS.

                        All the LS goodies that were eliminated on the TBird.

                        Different finish options to dress up the dash.

                          Supercharged Jaguar 4.2 Liter Motor, 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and the Exhaust to go with it,so it does not sound like a Church Mouse when you start it up.

                            A better-looking dashboard. The T-bird has a very generic and uninspired one. All the design on the outside and what do we have on the inside? Little, unfortunately (the turquoise pointers are cool, though).
