I know, the title is 1 thing, but....
a bit more legroom would be nice
and better acceleration.
The acceleration is annoying when I stomp the pedal and the computer(?) has to think about it before the car actually jumps. Maybe a manual transmission would change this but then, my wife wouldn't like it.
I think the horsepower is adequate. I've had faster but then it seems like someone is always in front of me.

The Jag's 4.2L supercharged engine and a retractable hardtop (with porthole). Of course, these two options would probably have pushed the car into the $60k plus range.
I like it the way it is, if I were to change anything, it would be some additional options which seem to be pretty much standard on cars with a sticker much less than our Thunderbirds, items which are available on the Lincoln LS, could have easily been added here or part of a option package since I know cost for these cars was getting more than Ford was shooting for. The items would be,
1. A auto dimming mirror, which I do plan on adding. (Avail on the LS)
2. A on-board / multi function computer for gas mileage, etc.(Avail on the LS)
3. A built in navigation. This is something else I will probably add as it is a burden to remove the navigation system I have if I'm traveling and want to get out and leave the top down which I typically do if the tonneau is on. (Avail on the LS)
4. A retractable hardtop would be fantastic, eliminate all the problems with keeping the spots of mildew off the canvas top as well as having a built in tonneau like most retractibles.
I would have glady paid more for my car to have these features. With exception of the retractable hardtop, all these other items could have been made available on the Limited Editions for each year to further set them apart.
