The items would be,
      1. A auto dimming mirror, which I do plan on adding. (Avail on the LS)
      2. A on-board / multi function computer for gas mileage, etc.(Avail on the LS)
      3. A built in navigation. This is something else I will probably add as it is a burden to remove the navigation system I have if I'm traveling and want to get out and leave the top down which I typically do if the tonneau is on. (Avail on the LS)
      4. A retractable hardtop would be fantastic, eliminate all the problems with keeping the spots of mildew off the canvas top as well as having a built in tonneau like most retractibles.

I would have glady paid more for my car to have these features. With exception of the retractable hardtop, all these other items could have been made available on the Limited Editions for each year to further set them apart.

I'd redesign the back end. I always thought the back end was a bit weak in comparison to the rest of the car. Just my 2 cents.

A bigger, more powerful V8. The suggestion for the Mustang 5.0 is decent but I'd like the option for even more cubes.

            In this order:

            1. Manual transmission for sure (driving isn't driving in an automatic!)

            2. Better looking dash

            3. Agreed with the retractable hardtop - but there is something very nostalgic about the ragtop!

All you "convertible hardtop" people are missing the point. It's a retro, first off. And, I've had a hard top. Once you get over the whizz bang factor, it does not have much to offer. Except no trunk and more maintenance. Besides, the top should be down 99.9% of the time. What would I change? Just give me more of those top down days.
(And for those keeping track, yes I did add the auto-dim mirror w/ compass, backup sensors, and upgraded the stereo. I'm retro, but not barbaric. )

I agree with a bit more headroom. I like the soft top and love the sand color combo, I would however have the material be made of something a bit more stain resistant and easier to clean.

Oh and the brake dust drives me crazy! (At some point the pads will be changed out)

Little more owner friendly...i.e. changing tail light and headlight bulbs, etc.

I think Ford should've designed the cars head and tail lights more like the 55 and put a real Ford V8 under the hood, or possibly the Triton V-10 with an optional manual 6 speed, something along the lines of a Viper. Leroy

When I have the Big Bright sun sitting on my left shoulder, I would love to be able to move the sun visor to block it. I've always considered this to be a safety issue. I also agree withe most of the other wants.

Since the sports and traffic in my area are on AM, it would be nice if the AM radio worked better at the high end of the "dial."
