Another silly list put together by somebody (or somebodies) who have not experienced the tremendous joy of being exposed to a retrobird - or the great people associated with this car (ie. TBN) !!

Dumb list. Stupid comments. What does a reader gain by reading about "bad" designs and "no good" cars? The "journalist" who put this together could have at least given some links to more elaborate reports. What idiocy.

What do Brits know about cars anyway?

They drive all those woosie tiny little Brit made rust buckets with no space, no power, no style, no comfort and they drive on the wrong side of the road to boot! (Not to be confused with the bonnet!)

And they complain about things they have never seen much less driven.

Just my un-biased opinion of course.

I wonder what they think that the 25 BEST cars are?

I don't think they would do that, as it is easier to complain about things.

We are in good company: Jags, Austin Martins, BMWs, Maybachs, Ferraris, Mercedes SLR McLarens. Over hyped or not I will bet the journalist who wrote the article never even sat in one of the 25 on the list.

              Pure nonsense.

I get nothing but rave comments on mine. The premise of the article is flawed - overhyped? What exactly does *that* mean anyway? I'd like to see how they came to the conclusions they did [which presupposes they exercised thought and logic in the process].

To be so darned over-hyped it sure does receive a lot of attention ...

I went to pick up a last few Christmas dinner needs and the honey baked ham my Mom ordered at the Fresh Market this morning. I went and got the car instead of rolling the cart to the hinterlands of the parking lot where I had parked Suzanne on my way out.

When I pulled up to load my groceries into the trunk there was this man I would guess in his 70s waiting for me. He told me he owned a new 55 that was torch red with red and white interior and a white top without the portholes (which he didn't like and traded out).

He told me he sold it to buy his future wife's engagement ring.

With his wife standing there he asked me did he make the right decision?

                I KNOW ....

I agree with Roger's comment about the company we are grouped with here. Some of the best automakers, and some of the world's best selling cars in history are in this group.

Some people will do anyting for attention!

                  I wonder what he drives?

Oh, I think they have it close on Bad cars except for 2 or 3.
The Tbird that we love is not worth the sticker price.
It lacks many things for a high priced car.

But we don't care. we knew that going in.

That's why they don't make Tbirds anymore.

After I read the article, and after I stopped laughing, it also made me even happier that I have a retrobird - as already mentioned, there is some pretty good company on the list.

Well here is my thinking. Bought my T'Bird in July of this year at age seventy. The car was
in a Chevy dealers used car lot stopped to look no intention of buying this car. Salesmen
comes out usual pitch let me get the keys etc. etc. Okay get the keys I drive the car and
wow I feel like a kid again. The only thing this is not a kids car its has a nice plush old mans
ride drove it home showed it to the wife asked her if she liked it. Shes young at heart too
so we now own it.I think the point I am trying to make is if you enjoy this car who cares
                            what anybody says.
