All automobiles are female. Remember this each time you fill up.

Frits, you need to be stroking or rubbing the T-Birds loins with Zaino while looking underneath!

PS is male; PCR is female. After all the time they spend alone together in the garage, you would think something would have "developed." I've been hoping for a little T-bird - something along the lines of a '57.

                  Chuck,

Try lowering the ambient lighting and play some soft romantic music, perhaps a bottle or two of the good stuff...........who knows?

LOL! I call it "my car" or "the Bird" too. Until I joined TBN in 2003, I had never heard of referring to a car as a he or a she, and I had never heard of giving a car a formal name. It took me a couple of months to figure out that some people here were talking about their car and not a family member. I think if I started calling my car "he or she" or if I gave it a name, my wife would have me locked up. She already thinks I'm teetering on the edge.

I've been doing my best to stay out of this. However . . .

I believe that the proper protocal would be to refer to our cars as she or her, as with Military ships and aircraft. Leroy

...I'm with Leroy, the Thunderbird was originally designed at the dawn of the Space Age, to resemble an aircraft (or a space ship, i.e., a rocket), hence the "after-burner" tailights on our retro-Tunderbirds, as Ford officially called them. Thus, the feminine designation is quite appropos, and it doesn't take rocket science to figure that out.
