    Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

I'm not sure if there is a separate place for the spotting of rarer Birds. I'll take a chance putting it here. I'm sure someone will set me straight (or as straight as I get) if it belongs elsewhere.

Anyhow - - - The Big Flea at Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly, VA - nice James Bond 007. Parked with no owner in sight. Took a look at it and was very impressed by the 007 on the dash.

not to worry, Sealy. They're all rare sights when it comes to spotting any color.

Today, saw a 2002 Inspiration Yellow (ragtop) on South Park Avenue, traveling north. Car had North Carolina plates with a "Franklin Square Ford" license plate holder.

It sure was a pretty car!

It got warmer and dry here in northern NJ so I took little red to work. Saw a whisper white on Speedwell Avenue in Morristown - headed north.

The weather here is amazing (60) after the long cold stretch, so I took Moondoggie out (top down) to visit Charley's mom at the temp nursing facility (long story), and someone there has a triple black. Don't know if it's an employee or someone visiting. Maybe it will be there tomorrow. I didn't have my cards with me today.

                      Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

I was sitting at the light this afternoon at Millbrook and Creedmoor Road. I had this feeling someone was watching me so I look over to my right: There is this really nice pretty blond haired lady in an 03 WW who has been following me and trying to catch my attention. She told me she loved the 04 Raven, Suzanne's license plate, MY RAVEN, and complimented how pretty the EB was with the PS top.

I put the window down on the passenger side and we chatted for a minute or two: I told her I wished I could hand her a TBN card so she put her car in park and hopped out and got it.

She said she bought her 03 WW new and when she saw it she had to have it. Her NC vanity plate was MY-T- .... something, I forget, but it was catchy and cute.

Anyway, I hope she joins us here as she loved her Bird, was excited to speak with me another Bird owner, and she told me she planned to drive it until "the wheels fall off" and then buy herself a TB. She said she had 66k miles on her WW. She said she drives it everyday to enjoy it because she loves it so much.

In the quick period of a light change I forgot to ask her name; the light turned green, and she turned right speeding off in her WW and black soft top.

I hope she reads this and joins us here ... I could see her being a TBNer for life!

                        Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

Yesterday, George & I spotted a red but it never caught up with us before turning into Trophy Club from 114, but then, we were not in a tbird at the time.

Today spotted a WW heading south on Carroll Rd in South Lake. I was able to get in behind it and followed aways before it turned off into a school. With the wet weather we've had the last few days, it was pretty dirty plus looked like it spent it's life parked outside all the time as the Softtop looked like it need replacing - getting ragged on the edges and quite faded. I did geta photo of it. will post it later.

Today, ~5:20 PCR pulling int to Fayette Vet Clinic. I think it was a PCR. From my distance and the fading daylight it was hard to get a 100% lock in on the color.

Just came back from 2 weeks in Florida. Did my bike ride from CoCo Beach to Key West. I got to see a bird every day I was gone. Did get to talk to 1 owner in Vero Beach. Saw a Merlot on Marathon. Elle, was that a tourist or a friend of yours? The colors I saw were black, white, merlot, silver and 1 cashmere. Most had the tops up.
