  • Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

Just saw a TB Blue '02 in the parking lot of the hotel where the WAVY TV-10 crew is staying in Buxton, NC while they were doing a live broadcast about Hurricane Earl. Can't believe someone wouldn't get that baby out of harm's way (and flooding).

Well quite a day, taking a ride up A1A today Isabel and myself spotted not 1,Not 2 but 7 Birds, three with in a mile of each other. They were:
          4 Red
          1 Black Michigan Plate
1 PCR (I think as he was about 5 car lengths behind)
          1 Thunderbird Blue (car dealership)
And us riding in the Caddy as it looked like rain and I didn't want to get the Bird dirty
But this is not unusual in S.Fl. which was the second highest sales area for T-Birds .(I think I'm correct )

Yesterday morning a beautiful '57 turquoise/white hardtop Rt 210 Indian Head. Yesterday afternoon an IY with black hardtop northbound on Rt 301 approaching Waldorf, exchanged waves with both.

HOOKED?????? That's blasphemy! NO car should be 'hooked' to a tow truck. INSIST on a roll-back! I can't believe someone would allow that to happen to their Bird.

I seen one here in town today that I never seen before. I believe it was a Mountain Shadow Grey with a Tan Soft Top. Not sure of the color but Dark Grey with the Tan Top. It looked really nice with that combo...

Spotted a silver driving down the main street of Provincetown MA (we were walking) on Wednesday the 10th. Today we were walking the streets of Nantucket and I was wearing my Thunderbird cap and a gentlemen came up to me and asked if I owned a thunderbird and what year. In talking with him I found out he had just purchased a 05 cashmere. He said he was from Missouri and had not heard about thunderbird nest so I gave him my TBN card to this site.

Today I spotted two in Cape Cod area. First one was in Hyannis Port, on main street close to the Kennedy Museum. It was a black with the top down. Had a plexiglass wind screen on with a white t-bird emblem on it. Second was a whisper white with top down in Harwich Port area on Hwy 28. Of course I was in a rental car so the wave was not returned.

We close on our new house (still homeless) Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. Our new neighborhood has about 75 houses in it. So far we have spotted an EB with sand soft top and a WW within the gates. Maybe we can get a T-Bird club organized with our neighbors.
