    Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

Had been months since I have seen another T-Bird here in the Pacific Northwest. Today I saw a beautiful Vintage Mint Green on the way to work and a stunning Torch Red on the way home. I drive on country roads and there are very few cars. A very pleasant surprise. It was a beautiful sunny 35 degrees out. They had hardtops on. I wonder what they thought seeing me with top down!

Scared the heck out of a stodgy, stuffy tbird owner yesterday! Pulled up next to his EB yesterday at a light. I had Greta's top down, since it was a beautiful sunny day and 70 degrees. I waved and he rolled his window down an inch or two, like he thought I was gonna carjack him or something, and I hollered at him to take that top off, that it was too nice a day to leave it on! He gave me the friendly "go to he**" look, rolled his window up, and took off! Never said a word!

Oh, well, I guess it ain't just great people that own Thunderbirds...some jerks do also! I guess he thought I was one of them...!

Maybe he is one of the owners that doesn't know the hardtop comes off?

Perhpas he was hard of hearing and only got the last part "top off" and you know what that may have sounded like. Just put your fingers in your mouth and say it.

We saw a insp. yellow at the Tennessee welcome centre (south bound) at 4:00 this afternoon. Michigan plates. Same one passed me about 1/2 hour later @ exit 134. I am sure they will have the top down tomorrow.

Downtown DC (corner of 19th & H NW) - A Black/Black/Black TB - somewhat unkempt looking (or it could have been more that 5 minutes since last wash). Also had a shatterd windshield - looked like a baseball bat to the lower corner on the passenger side.

Weather here has been amazing; I was sure I would see a bunch of birds out the past week -- but no go. :(

I took the top off yesterday and enjoyed the wonderful Easter weekend weather in KC. As I left the house this afternoon, I drove about 5 blocks and met another topless Torch Red on 159th St. in Olathe. We both shared a wave, but didn't get a good look since I was surprised to see a mirror image so close to home! Hope they enjoyed the day as much as I did.

Spotted a Whisper White driving North on I-29, approx. 10 miles North of Grand Forks ND yesterday. Waved but we were in the Mercury so I'm not sure they saw us.
