  • 2010 T-Bird sightings...

And so the tradition continues... early this morning, as we said goodbye to our guests, a 2004 Merot pulled out of our drive way!
Later this morning, as we were on our way to pick up a few groceries, a WW with black soft top was winging it's way down Va Beach Blvd.
Great way to start the new year!

We spotted a 2002 Blue heading down I-64 this morning with GA plates - covered with the remnants of bad weather from up north...probably going home after a holiday visit.

Just got in from a 3 day trip to Caddo Lake, then on to Shreveport, for a little gambling. Made a deposit, and spotted a White Bird today (01/02/2010) in the DiamondJack parking area.

            Are you a TBN member?

Hope you did better than I did!

spotted 1/02/10 - whisper white 02 and MSB 05 in parking lot with our 02 blue. of course, it helped that it was a classic tbird breakfast meeting so there were several 57s and a 56.

Saw either an 02 or an 03 blue with hard top. (sorry I haven't seen enough blues to know the diff). we were going opposite ways. We waved as I passed buy. the first time I've gotten a fellow t-birder to notice me.

                      Re: 2010 T-Bird sightings...

I pulled up beside an 02 TR yesterday on Six Forks Road at Millbrook Road. I tapped the horn at the light and waved at the guy. He looked over; stared at me and didn't crack a smile; and then looked back around at the light. He was this Mafioso looking type white fellow with a expensive leather black jacket on.

This morning I pulled up beside a 03 WW on my way to work and the fella obviously knew I was pulling up because before I could tap the horn he had already rolled down his window to hang his hand out to wave with a big smile. His bird had Maryland vanity plates. He was a very professional African American older gentleman. I wish I could have given him a TBN card.

It is interesting and funny how different personalities respond different ways.

BTW, that was the first time in AGEs I have met 2 Retro’s one day and then another.

The Corvette folks always wave at someone driving another Vette. With our cars being even more rare, we all should be showing the same kind of spirit.

Spotted a WW (didn't get a look at the side so don't know the year) at the Ford dealership in Sedero Woolley in the service area parking lot.
