    Sunday, 6/6/10. Evening black with black soft-top (up) heading north on Lake Wheeler Rd. in Raleigh about 10 a.m. in vicinity of Lake Wheeler Park. Know of anybody in Raleigh with an EB?

        Reverse sighting (I just love these)!

        I was in a check-out line this afternoon when the woman behind me said, "Oh -oh - you're the lady in the baseball cap!" Now, since I was standing there in front of her with a baseball cap on my head, it was obviously one of those "duh" moments. Very flustered, she then said, "No, no, that's not what I mean. I mean you're the lady with the baseball cap in the cool car I see all the time!" I laughed and said, "Ah, you mean the T-Bird!" We chatted for a couple minutes...she wanted to know all about it, and showed her a pic of both Birds - she said she's seen me in both and wondered if she was going color-blind!

            I WAS AT THE FORD/LINCOLN DEALER THIS MORNING ON THE COP ISSUE, WHEN IN PULLED A 02 EB THAT I HAD NEVER SEEN. LADY SAID SHE BOUGHT IT WITH 200 MILES AND NOW HAS 18,000. SHE WAS HAVING NEW TIRES PUT ON. I HAD THE NM, WHICH SHE DID NOT KNOW ABOUT, BUT LIKED THE SEATS. I TRIED TO INTEREST HER IN TBN, BUT SHE SAID SHE DID NOT LIKE BELONGING TO ANYTHING. HER LOST.

              Just shows it pays to leave cards sometimes. Last year I gave some of my cards to the courtesy shuttle driver at Freedom Ford (Ernie). Yesterday he gave a card to a Mr. Liu, who just bought a 2002 WW and had FF check it out. Ernie called me today and said Mr Liu had seen Goldilocks at FF in May when she was in for state inspection. Mr Liu is a retired capt of Cunard Lines (40 yrs), and he did call my cell yesterday, but I'm afraid I had difficulty understanding his very thick Asian accent, so I didn't know who it was or what he wanted. I have since called him back and left a message. He wants to join TBN, so I hope to see his "new" WW (his retirement toy) in the very near future - hopefully here on July 31 for T@TWH V.

                Just curious, but has anyone ever sighted a Tbird, posted it to this thread and then have the other owner post the spotter later that day or soon thereafter?
                I'm trying to remember what I was doing that day! My wife & I go to that Publix as we live nearby but we're usually in the Magnum so it probably wasn't us. There are two other red ones in neighbourhoods next to where we live that I've seen around here too. A couple of weeks ago I saw a red one & a black one within a couple of minutes of each other on Coleman Blvd. Saw a blue one on Glenn McConnell that same week, a white one parked at Total Wines last year and a black one at Home Depot earlier this year.

                I have to remember to come on here & find out if these are members I'm seeing.

                  Just and update on post #171 - I have spoken with Mr Liu, and he is VERY excited about joining TBN. He plans to come here (my house) to T@TWH on July 31, and I am emailing him more info on how to log on here (he's having a small problem with his computer), but this gentleman is very enthusiastic about his beautiful WW '02 Bird, which he drives only on Sundays!

                    Saw a PC Roadster in College Station today. I drove my Silver Bird from San Antonino to College Station so we had 2 retros in the Holiday Inn parking lot. it was raining too hard to investigate and I was not able to connect with the owner.

                    Sidenote, friends of ours just purchased an '03 Shadow Grey so we're going to try and get them to Kerrville next May.

                        Saw two on Tuesday 6/8/10. Both were at the Bozeman Ford dealership in Bozeman Montana. The first was a 2005 Platinum Silver with a black top. When I inquired about it, I was told it was the Bosses Baby. Hands off.

                        The second was 2004 Torch Red with a black soft top, No hard top, that was for sale. It has approximately 23K miles and they were asking 23,132.00 for it. The Salesman said it would probably go for about $20-21K. Appeared to be in showroom condition.

                          Saw two yesterday on hwy 30 on Maui. One was a 90's white tbird the other was a 2005 black w/ white hardtop.

                            Interesting one yesterday . . . On my way home from work, Metro Red line about 4:30. We stopped at the Rhode Island Ave. station, my car is on the bridge over Rhode Island Ave, about 50 or so feet up. I looked down at the street and saw a flash of yellow (with it's black top up) heading north - slowed in traffic a couple of times and then was gone. So, who's brave enough to drive their Bird in DC rush hour?


                            They're everywhere! Just walked out of Heidi's Deli on H Street and a red top-down was sitting at the light. Must be the season.

                              Chapel Hill -- Friday, 6/11 about 1:00 pm -- went to the State Employees Credit Union on So. Elliott Rd. Saw an IY (top down) parked there but before I could get to it a large fellow talking on his cellphone walked up, got in & took off. Who dat?
