Dash Trim for 2002 T-Birds

Just a quick note to tell all '02 T-Bird owners that the "brushed aluminum look" dash trim from Americandash.com from New York or New Jersey (can't remember which state they're in) is a PERFECT MATCH for the original aluminum trim on the '02 T-Bird. The kit costs $99.95 and they make it to order in about a week. It is great and very easy to install. They are very accomodating on the telephone...not good at answering e-mail questions or requests, however.

This is the same dash kit I installed on Borla Babes car at CHoo Choo event. It really matched great and both Julie and I were very satisfied with the finished product. However it only matches the 02 allum trim. All OEM trims for 03 thru 05 have different designs in the allum trim and will not match these kits. Lou

I looked thru a lot of old posts but couldn't find any info.

The one I installed on Borla Babes car is the same one that Treken has on his car I believe it is called brushed alluminum. Now Sally if you are referring to the one I have on my car it is not the alluminum, it is the grey marbized color or sometimes called Marble Burlwood. Two sources for this dash kit.

THe other which looks just as good a little cheaper but quality just as good
I bought off ebay for $99.00 but after I bought it the supplier gave me his personal phone # incase I wanted anymore. He was good to deal with also.

I just searched Americandash.com and they don't list a Thunderbird kit? I really like the look of the one Trekin has .. I want it .. but... what about the heated seats cover. Is it solid for us non heated seat types? and a source please.. Thanks

THere are two separate parts that come with the kits, Use one with the cutouts for the heated seats and use the other plain if no heated seats.
Also the kits come with two differnt pieces to use under the shifter depending on if you have the slap shift feature or just regular shift.
THe Allum color like what Treken has are offered from the two sources I mentioned above also for the same price. Lou

Just call American Dash and they will make up the kit for you and it only takes about a week to ten days. You'll love the way it lights up the dash.
