Actually, that's Hard Top Time.
These were all convertibles this morning. My SO keeps a list and schedules - When I got up, I was told it was time - there would be no more top-down weather until spring.
As a rating review - The easiest is the 230SL - 4 mounting points, 4 built-in levers. Next is the Bird - 4 mounting points and the T-handled driver. Last is the 560SL - 5 mounting points: center rear locks from a central multi-function lever, the other 4 have a special lever tool that gets inserted into a slot. German over-engineering at its best. Weight is about the same - maybe a little more for the steel Germans, but the T-Bird is bigger.
The other two convertibles (Rambler and Mercedes) did not make the picture - they're just softies.
