Ooops..my bad. Yes, I do know the difference between Mountain Shadow Grey and Medium Steel Blue...too many MS's...I read it too quickly...sorry..anyway, I think I will still try the "Blue" on my Evening Black.

Leroy...does the metalic paint job of the MSB contrast with the EB? I have both also and I think it looks great on your pics, but I've never tried the combo because I wasn't sure about the contrasting paints...Jerry

Jerry, The top on the NM and the 05 black with silver top both have metallic tops. Even the 02 blue metallic looks great with the black so I'm sure your 05 top on your MSB will look good on your black.

just not so sure when you open the doors though

I think it blends real nice with the EB, I love the contrast. I bought the top with every intention of having it painted EB, but once I got it on the car that all changed.

Looks sharp Leroy. Was that a red interior showing on the steering wheel?
(personally bias, I think a red interior looks great in a black car)

One more tid bit: The Neiman-Marcus top is Satin Silver, and is not the same color as the Platinum Silver, on the later Birds.

Oh, and the MSG, looks great on a Platinum Silver Bird also. (as it does on the EB Birds.) We have the combo down here in our Florida Group.

Good point and thanks Dot...I'm going to try and switch tops this weekend and hopefully post a pic....Chuck, be real buddy, I'd have to give Roger my first born to get him to remove his hardtop and I already traded her for some dive equipment a long time ago.
