    Re: soft top

I cleaned the heck out of my sand top this past spring, and solved the problem by never putting the top down the entire summer. I have 2 other convertibles to drive top down, and just hate the way the sand top looks after putting it up and down a few times. I guess my other choice would be to put the boot on and never put the top up again. That may be what I do next summer.

Don't throw it away, I will be glad to drive down to camarillo and take it off your hands.

I love my Light Ice Blue car with the full sand interior and soft top. If you clean it and preserve it with the products mentioned here, it will look really good.

Even a black top will show the dirt!

      Welcome!
Dean, I'm also a big fan of the LIB/sand combo. I think it's one of the nicest combos out there, but to each his own!

I always cover up my baby with a blanket (car cover) before bedtime.

It helps keep her clean. My top's black tho.... but I would think it would help keep the sand top's clean for a while.

I originally wanted the black top, but bought sand because I ran into the car I just had to have. The Sand has grown on me, and I love it.

So...LEAVE the sand on... IT will grow on you! Bill
