DOT, FOUR SINGLES, TWO ARE 1001 AND TWO ARE 0919. THEN ON THE BOTTOM OF BOTH 0919'S, 0945. THEN ON THE 1001'S THE NO.S ARE 0948 AND 0950. ON THE FIVE PACKS THREE ARE NUMBER 0942 AND ONE IS 0940. I AM NOT ABOUT TO TAKE THEM APART TO READ THE NUMBERS OFF THE BOTTOM. CHARLIE WOULD SHOOT ME.

15044 - that is the sku # for the models.
On the back of the card, down in the lower right corner below the bar code is a "stamped" # - it's only 4 digits.

Now, as some have already found, there is a batch # also on the base of the car. It's hard to read thru the plastic bubble on the card so you have to remove car, as it's stamped into the base by machine, not molded in.

Well in that case, mine are card #950...but I'm not opening the blister pack to fine the number on the bottom of the car.

5 Packs numbered 0940 and 0942. cars numbered 0937 and 0938. No single cars at our local stores.

Picked up 2 singles at the Fort Oglethorpe, GA Walmart this morning. Number is 1001 on both.

So what is it about these models that people are searching and making special trips to Wal-Mart to find? About a month ago I ran across one (I think it was the same one) but was not impressed with the detail on it so didn’t spend the money. Am I missing something?

Saved that $0.88 !! Roger, your kids will thank you one of these days, LOL.

I think they are fairly decent representation of the car for the price, even if they only come in Thunderbird Blue (so far). If anyone, like say Dino, could actually come up with any real quantity of them, I bet we might start seeing some cool custom paint jobs on these little guys.
