Re: Poll For Which Way Shows Better?

I think it's a matter of context. While I have always gotten lots of looks with the top down, and I think it looks amazing that way on a beautiful day, the hard top on is extremely elegant. I think it looks great that way for a night out to a nice restaurant or to the theatre.

With the hard top on, it always reminds me of those mid sixties ads Ford would do with a beautiful woman in an evening gown and long gloves sitting in the car.

And lots of vasoline smeared on the lens of the camera.

I love my torch red with the matching hardtop on, everybody here loves the portholes. Of course, I haven't tried it as a convertible yet. I'll give you an update when the weather warms up a bit.
I've always liked the look of red with a white vinyl top, I may have to invest in a contrasting hardtop some day.

Boy talk about a tough decision because each look is great. The car with it's port hole hardtop on is very destinctive and yet we love driving with the top down in the sunny weather.

Nice thing is that for most of us, we can experience all 3 ways. I have to agree with Mark Gill in Ottawa, it's like having another car in a matter of seconds so I vote for all 3!

I did pick hartop on because that is how it is at the moment. On a sunny summer day you would probably get an entire different answer.

Choice #2 "soft top & closed up showing it's color"...
