  • Winter Enjoyment

January in eastern Wisconsin became mild for about the two weeks, followed by the rain, and more rain, which washed away the salt and then came the cold front. So it was perfect timing to take the '05 out of storage last evening and enjoy the clean winter roads in 5 degrees Fahrenheit! She is now past the 1400 mile mark, what a ride! --Lindy

And here in sunny Florida, we are at our peak of top-down driving. Beautiful day temperatures in the low 70s - great for cruising. Eat your hearts out, you Northerners.

Jealous? Join us for our Spring bash, LADY THUNDER, on May 1st. Cruise & Poker Run.

How far does one drive out of storage when it's at 1400 miles?! :P

Oklahoma is it's usual wacky weather...Wednesday night it was dry in the high 50's with no wind and I had the top down on the TBird. Just 24 hours later she's parked in the garage with ice covering the outside world. :(

Leroy: You bet! The heated seats in the '05 are a luxury in cold weather like that!

Dot: You caught it in my profile!

MATbird: I also own an '02, it has heated seats! The previous owner had them installed by Ford, I believe Ford offered the update after-the-fact (if you will). The on/off switch is located on the front lower side of each seat, however there is only one heat setting, and not the lo/hi setting that the '05 has. (see my photo gallery).
