Now that Ford in your avatar has to be a '53 Victoria hardtop. My first car was a '53 Meteor 'club coupe'. Oh, the memories.

My first car (Jan/1960) was also a 1953 Ford, three speed column shift, flathead V8. Cost, $250, sold it for $275 (June/1960) and bought a 1955 Ford convert.

I DVRed the show, so I'll watch it today.

Dave, if not mistaking that 55,Red/White Bird went for $60K. There was an older lady bidding against a guy and she would not let him have it. He was at 57K and she jumped it up to $60 and he quit. My wife said it must have brought up some good memories for her to want that car that bad.

Was that 62 sport roadster real? It looked bad in the pictures and there were no badges on the front fenders. The wire wheels looked like hubcaps. $46000 give or take.... hmmmm

                            Off subject slightly....
Couldn't believe the '59 Pontiac Bonneville that went for $210,000.
