Gee Retro Owners...

Seems with all the Pappasito's events going on, we should get some type of Thunderbird discount on all these bills!!

It would be the ultimate win-win scenario!

Only thing is that we were not all at Pappasito's, we just picked our locations and they became Pappasitos for a day!

Of course some of us (not me) got our over 65 senior's discounts!

Names were with held to protect the guilty!

OH PLEASE!! I had to fight "tooth and nail" with Pappasito's in Richardson just to keep the area we had agreed on in late December! Then, after two personal visits, with a credit card up to guarantee a $$ amount, one of the mgrs wrote down directions as to how we wanted our seating, an open area to mix and mingle. and separate checks...when we arrived at the luncheon, absolutely NOTHING in our dining area was as we'd agreed on, and contracted for!! I'd gone thru 3 mgrs, and the Event Coordinator, yet, the two Mgr's on Duty had no knowledge of our seating, and mix and mingle area.

I will admit that after my "spirited discussion" we had very good service.
The Dallas Pappasito's Celebration will be held elsewhere in 2011.

Thanks for reminding me though, I have a call in to Pappa's Corporate right now!

Does the event count as an event even if only two people attended due to weather? Senior discounts start well before age 65 - and most servers are too embarrassed to ask if you qualify, they give it to you and when you get mad, take it back!

I didn't go to the Houston gtg, but I can say I will never step foot in another Pappasito's due to a bad encounter with a server then the manager.

Here one of our members picked a nice Greek family restaraunt (Milton's in Kitchener, Ontario) which he knows well. We had a nice separate area to ourselves, great food, great service and great friends.

We couldn't have asked for a better time and the price was unbelievable too! (Cheap or shall I say inexpensive!)

At the Atlanta Pappasito's we had great service as usual. They even gave us a dessert to give away in our raffle. As long as you guys meet and have a good time, that is all that matters.

Sorry to those who did not have an enjoyable time. I guess we have the Atlanta Pappasito's trained after 9 times!

Jeannie, we had a great time!
We have a wonderful, fun loving group of Thunderbird enthusiasts, we were inside (out of the cold), the food was good and hot, the beer cold, and they had very good Margarita's. We had plenty of good waiters, service was timely, and they did all they could to help make our Meet the best it could be.

They just have a management communication problem at that location.

Dave (Houston) said he was happy with the Pappasito's on Hollister.

I was there and witnessed the whole discussion between Sally and the punk a** manager. There is picture of the discussion posted. I'm the guy behind the plant with Sally talking to the punk in the freezing cold.

I'm happy to hear another location will be chosen for the Dallas meet next year.

At least now I know I can ask for the senior discount.... even though I don't qualify!!! Course... I'm not sure that's a good thing, though, if you look the part prematurely.
