Starting Problems
Well, I thought I'd check out the site while I was waiting for my battery to charge (yet again).
The current scenario is that I hadn't driven the car in three days. In the winter, that's enough for me to need to jump start. Sigh.
I'm noticing that she's cranking and cranking - making that vacuum whirring sound - but not turning over. After five secs or so the tach and speedo go back to zero.
I've had the fuel pump replaced once already and hope I don't have to have another one. Maybe the starter is on its last legs? Who knows! I figure these cars just weren't meant to be really driven! I'm just coming up to 120K miles and this is my daily driver.
Oh well, guess I should go back outside and see what happens.
