I don't have a clue to what a Mdl is, I'm assuming it's a abreviation for a particular color paint like MSB or MSG etc. My first consern would be the price. I'm sure availabilty is a big factor in HI. since it's probably quit expensive to ship a car there from the mainland. An 04 might be a rare Bird in HI. Leroy
Mark,
If you're looking at one on the Islands, the 'bird does have some metal panels - the doors and rear quarters, not to mention what's underneath. so check for any signs of sand/dirt underneath that may have accumulated and wasn't taken care of and the amount of rust that might be forming. Otherwise, drive it and see if the engine is "missing", ie, not running well going up hills or under power. That would probably be a sign of c.o.p.s (coils on plugs)going out or out. Car is under warranty to get that fixed.
reguardless of what some people here think....it is after all just a car....buy it like you would any car ,drive it ,have it inspected by a mechanic, have it checked to see if it throwing any codes, put it on a lift look close underneath...you can most likely find signs of damage, rust, repair etc,if you look hard.....and if it all checks out and its a fair price....buy it ....you will love it like we all do....good luck
