If that is the case regarding the 55-57 T-Birds, then inflation adjusted prices are a bit harder to compare for the newer two-seaters. I would opine that since a 02-05 T-Bird had a much more extensive warranty [figured into the price] of approximately $40,000--that one should expect a big falling price curve in the used car market since after say, about three years and or 36,000 miles the warranty coverage is expended. Thus such a used car should fall immediately after the the warranty is up or at least pro-rata from year to year. Suffice it to say the warranty is a factor in determining the price.
