Not all areas of the country have steet view. Most as still aerial view only. You might just get the roof view of your t-bird.

Did you notice there is even a person pictured down the street from you.

All the views in our area are about 3-4 years ago.

When you get the roof view, you have to drag the little man in the compass to your street to get street view...

And yes, my neighbor even watched the Google guy going down the street at the time...

That street view is pretty cool! Ours is from about 2.5 years ago, as our old house is still standing on the property and there is a construction dumpster there from when we were tearing down our old garage and getting ready to build the new place. Sorry - no picture of the Bird - she's never outside!

living in a rural area, all we get is the aerial view and the last time I looked, it predates when we bought the place.

Have you Canadians ever heard of placing the telephone poles in the parkway and not in the street? I bet a lot of people come into contact with those things placed as they are.

Unless the poles are real close to the houses up there, the little wire that goes to the tin cups gets to be too expensive.

Actually, we call them "hydro poles" and they use them to hang almost anything on them. Do you have electricity yet down where you are?

SHORTLY AFTER I WAS TRANSFERED FROM THE ATLANTA PLANT TO DEARBORN, I WENT TO OAKVILLE FOR AN ELECTRICAL AUDIT. THE PLANT REP. ASKED ME IF I WANTED TO GO TO THE HYDRO TEST. I TOLD HIM NO, I WAS HERE FOR AND ELECTRICAL AUDIT, NOT WATER AND SEALING. AFTER HE CALLED ME A DAMN YANKEE WHO DIDN'T KNOW WHAT A HYDRO TEST WAS, I KNEW I WAS IN FOR A ROUGH TIME. FIRST THING I DID WAS EXPLAIN COMING FROM TENNESSEE I WOULD NOT BE CALLED A DAMN YANKEE AGAIN. THEN I SHOWED HIM IN THE DICTIONARY THE MEANING OF HYDRO. AFTER THAT, OAKVILLE BECAME ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLANTS TO VISIT.
