  • Finally figured out the Bird's problem . . .

    It's a convertible!
Hard top was suffocating its soul and corrupting its cosmic ying & yang -not to mention fouling its feng shiu.
Pulled the hard top, got some sun on the leather, some tarmac on the tires, and some Rosanne Cash on the radio and all is right with the Merlot Marauder. Y'all should give it a try.

21 degrees this morning, 3 inches of snow fell yesterday, 25 mph North wind. I'm jealous of you but have no desire to even uncover the bird!!! First day of spring in Iowa and it still feels like winter!!!

It's 74 here today! I've been riding topless for a few days now.

Don't like the feeling of being stuck to the leather seats, Gene. Good thing you're male or you'd get stared at alot!!! Probably cause a few accidents on the drive also.

Great Picture, Sealy!!! I never grow tired of looking at these cars. They are so beautiful from every angle, and each color has its own personality.

Yes! I got my top off and went topless earlier this week. Temp then, high 60s temp now, 30s. While I was out, the police pulled me over for driving topless. They thought I was an older lady with a face hair problem...

Nice pic, Sealy, but the first day of spring here sprung a high, cold wind with snow. No top down today!

That picture is a candidate for TBOM.

Never put my hard top on this winter.

Took her out today, top down, and enjoyed a 70+ day in NJ.

Yesterday, when I put the top down and took out the 64 Galaxie, lookers/gawkers were all over the car. Never saw so many thumbs up.

After 41 years, and 211,000 miles, I still cannot get over the joy of driving this classic.

                      I must be sick.

Top was removed today from The Raven. My neighbor John & I make a deal: He helps me remove my PS top & I help him remove his merlot top ... Spring is here under Carolina Blue skies!

The temperature here was in the mid to upper 60s here. I needed to put a landing in front of my basement door, every trip to the garage I could hear the birds screaming “GET ME OUT OF THIS BAG; WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU”. Next weekend I hope

Thanks all! Good to hear that most of the weather reports are coming in clear. There's nothing better than spring in a Thunderbird. Except maybe summer. Or fall. Or, maybe, winter.

Also taking the tops off the 2 Mercedes SL's today. We'll be enjoying German inspired sunshine for the day.

Side note to Jerry - I'm major jealous. I recently gave up my '64 Rambler American convertible. It turned heads everywhere it went.

Oh, Yea ! Top off Thurs. 71 degrees , Fri , the same , Sat a little cloudy , Shoot rain today . Even tho the port holes are beautiful , I think my Bird runs a little better with the top down . Maybe my foot is just a little heavier , it makes the Flowmasters growl a little bit more .
