Just Got Me A New 'Bird' :)

Hi Everyone:

Just wanted to share this.

Yesterday, I picked up my new 'bird'. It is a 2002 in 'Thunderbird Blue', with matching hardtop and two tone seats. Now the best part.... Only 2,401 miles!! Absolutely like brand new, inside and out. Drives like a brand new car. It was previously owned by an elderly couple who used to 'winter' in Florida. Amazing, just 300 miles per year! Bought it from a Ford main dealer in Florida.

I sold my '05 'bird' a while back and had been looking for a replacement.

I'm excited, so hope you don't mind me sharing this.

Roger, my first Bird was the '02 in TB Blue with full accent. Loved the look and feel of that leather! It's a beautiful car...congratulations.

Saw that one on ebay sunday called a friend about it an hr later it was already gone! I think and I might be mistaken the dealer had a "buy it now" price of 18,400 I thought that was a good buy with that low miles. Congradulations on what ever you paid the car looked perfect

Congrats! Chalk one up for the "who's got the lowest mileage" people. You got yourself a great piece of Americana (sounds similar to my '02, but your miles are exceptionally low). The TB Blue is one of the best colors; way to go "BIRD 42"!

Took it out for the first time today and 2 people came up to me and said that they could not believe it was a used car. They absolutely loved the color and the full accents :)
