I'm In Heaven!!
Wow...I think I've died and gone to heaven! After having my Penelope for less than 2 months, I finally got to drive her topless at night for the first time tonight! May I just say....that was AMAZING!! With spring in the air, all I could smell were blooming flowers & blossoms. It was so relaxing! I have found my new hobby! Just had to share with y'all.

Mmmmmmm - cool leather on warm flesh. Another fun thing - I've driven around DC in the way early morning with the top down. Eerily enjoyable with the near deserted streets and the tallish buildings looming over you.

Lynda - I fully agree.
We were able to have our first top-down drive last weekend after purchasing in December. It was like driving another new car - fun, fun, fun!
I told myself I wasn't going to put lots of miles by having it be a daily work driver, but on Sunday evening I wasn't sure if I could limit myself.
(Un)Luckily, it turned wet/cold during the week here. But they're talking upper 70s/low 80s and sunny for the next 4 days. More fun coming!!!

I went the other way. After four years of driving with the soft top I am driving with the hard top for a while. It is a reminder of why I love my bird. What a nice quiet ride. It seems to draw more attention and comments from onlookers. I think it looks more like a retrobird to me. IMHOComment

Interesting topless comments! Coastal or mountainous! Downtown is nice, driving among the tall buildings, and I can understand the night-time being best. Daytime is so busy, and all the exhaust fumes!
