No - not my elusive PCR!
We are now in the possession of Charley's mother's 1989 "Titanium Metallic" Thunderbird LX. She is no longer allowed to drive (dr's orders) and it's been sitting in her garage for 6 months. Charley's been using it to drive her to her many dr's appts, but given the situation with the Shelby, I suggested (and not subtly), "USE IT FOR WORK"!!!! So, we've bought it from her (not without protest...she still thinks she can drive).
We know the car's entire history...C's dad bought it brand new in the fall of '88 when he retired from Ford American Road Ins., thinking it would be perfect for their planned travels around the country. Unfortunately, he died of lung cancer a year later, and barely ever got to drive it. In just slightly over 21 years, the car still only has approx 40K miles on it, and it has been maintained on a regular basis (Charley made sure of that).
Works for me. Now I get my Expedition back when the weather is bad.
