Had to share on Facebook our saga about parking in downtown Seattle in the wrong zone, getting towed, taking a taxi to the tow impound lot, paying taxi 20$, tow co. 100$ , parking ticket 42$. There was very little concern from friends and family about me being out $162.. Most everyone was very concerned that the T-Bird was O.K. after being towed!!! The T-Bird is fine...We drove the Prius that day...Thanks everyone about all of the concern....for my car!!!!.

Were they careful with loading it? Did they use a flatbed? Strap it securely? Store it in a private section of the yard away from dust, dogs and such??? Oh, and how dare you be so careless with parking of such a treasure.

Ah yes good old Seattle. The parking signage is so badly done. You never know if your wrong or right. Glad they did not ding up the Bird. Guess Mayor McGwynn is trying to raise money so he can put more bike routes in with his death to cars platform.GrayGator72

....Seattle was the first city we stayed in where we had to valet park the 'Bird....not comfortable with that!.....but sucked it up!....not a lot of choice.....Comment

I think I should clarify..People responded with concern because they assumed we drove the T-Bird.. In fact we took our Toyota Prius that day and it was towed. Nuf sed...Comment
