If your car is 2003-2005 and has less than 100,000 miles on it, it is 100% covered by Ford Motor Company! Call the dealer and tell them to ckeck their service bulletins.

Ah, but we have Weapon X. That is one advantage we have over the 03-05 Birds. Great coils.

I read my document and it says "one time repair". I'm wondering if this is why the first time I had it done it was free, but last time they charged me the deductible even though it was a different coil.

it's one time repair on each coil. Don't know why they charged you a deductible

I was only able to get the bad one repleaced, but they also did plug and valve cover gasket. Oil leak around coil caused failure. 2 were bad when I purchased the car a year ago and all but one have been replaced. Not sure how many gaskets if any, before now.

1,2,3,4,coils and plugs were replaced about 18 months ago, along with the wiper thing and valve and coil covers.( no cost.warranty.) Things ran great until about six weeks ago when I felt the dreaded slight miss that progressively got worse . No worries, I THOUGHT, as I HAD A SET OF WEAPON X COILS AND PLUGS . So, the bird went to the dealer . 5 and 7 coils and plugs were replaced yesterday(no cost. warranty) and THE COILS AND PLUGS are going back to weapon x this week. I am glad the coils are working out for the 02 guys.

When my coils (I recall it was more than one) failed last year I chose to have all of the coils replaced. It was expensive but since the car was at the dealer having the work done, I decided to not temp fate w/another breakdown. As previously posted, some of our 'Birds can have problems even w/very low mileage.
