  • Withdrawal and goodbye

We had to say goodbye to our Inca Gold baby tonight. After 4 1/2 years of fun, it was time to say goodbye.
Here are some pics of the day it first arrived at our home, some of fun along the way, and finally saying goodbye tonight.

        Hi Scotty,

Hopefully, you will be back with another Bird in the near future. You are going to miss all the fun you had driving that beauty.
I do have a question, What does the tag say on the pic of the car being loaded on the truck?
        Best of luck!

Sandman, That's the original Dealer tag (actually a stamped plate), from Jarret-Gordon Ford in Winter Haven, FL, where I bought the car. I thought it would be a nice touch for the new owner to have the car arrive looking brand new.

                      Hi Dot,

I sold it to a lady in New Jersey. She had an '05 Bronze that was totaled in an accident about a month and a half ago, and wanted another Thunderbird.

She called me the other day to say that the car arrived and that she loves it. I'm happy someone is enjoying it.

Now that was a very classy touch that I'm sure will be remembered and appreciated by the new owner. Nicely done.
