Re: The cluster lights are ON !!!!
I don't think the lights are connected to your steering wheel not adjusting. Your description sounds like you have rotated the "dimmer" wheel all the way (up) to the "always on" position. Are the lights below the mirror always on? Rotate the switch down to the amount of light you want.Frank

Re: The cluster lights are ON !!!!
to add to that, yes, the lights are on a timer which seems to be related to your headlight switch being in the "auto"matic position. That time varies depending on where in the auto settings it's been positioned.
as for the steering wheel adjusting oddly, battery might be low (is your battery old?).
or restart your car by taking key out and reinserting key. problem has been noted before so a search here might come up with some other solution.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

Re: The cluster lights are ON !!!!
Yes , ALL the warning lights on the dash ON .... I was driving the car yesterday.... and the lights went OFF and the power steering went to his original position (automatically adjusted), after that the car was ok, til this morning..... again! I did open the door and BAM all the warning lights ON ........... the battery was replaced last year in February, but I'll check on that THANKS !

Re: The cluster lights are ON !!!!
When all else fails, disconnect your battery for about 30 min, and re-connect.
This should re-set your Bird's computer.
Don't forget you'll need to re-set the auto-drop feature on your windows, radio stations, and clock.
While you're in there...be sure to check the psi in the spare tire. Should be 60 psi.Last edited by redbirdsal; Jul 5, 2010, 08:19 AM.
