Never thought that I would say this, but yesterday was just too hot to put the roof down...

All week it's been a heatwave here and enjoyed the top down and even put the air conditioning on high sometimes. But yesterday, it was nice just to be out of the hot sun driving around in a cool car with the windows up...

My solution Steve has been top down, a/c on. Oh, and I wear a hat to keep the dome from getting burned - but that was on another thread!

...and our dewpoint was around 55 ...that humidity index may not be high for you folks on the east coast, but when you combine it with our temp, I wished I was on your route 114 rather than in our heat 114!

Hooray for Friday! Our 90 degree+ with high humidity weather has taken a bit of a break. I'm all for top down and A/C crankin', but there comes a time for top up, too.

This is why in Fl. I put my hardtop on in july and Aug. too hot oe to wet

Out here in Las Vegas it get's to be 108 plus and even though we like to drive with the top down...we can't do it , just to HOT!

Down here in FLA. my MGB has become my winter car. It doesn't have air and I haven't even put the convertible top on it since we moved down here. The Birds convertible top is insulated pretty well so the hard top stays off of that too but it does have air.
