Hi Tbird fans
My 1996 T-bird has 192,000 miles and I use it for work while the 2002 T-bird is garage kept.
My mechanic friend recently replaced the fuel pump (on the 1996) which I purchased from purchased from CarQuest and it worked for a few days of driving but then quit on me. He suggested the fuel pump may have been defective out of the box.
Instead of replacing it with another new fuel pump, I then decided to replace the fuel pump relay switch because I suspected the relay switch was defective due to mileage/age. I cannot locate schematics at parts dealers. Can any of you tell me where the relay switch is located?
Also, I have talked with Ford but they are not willing to advise me of the location without a credit card. That is why I have come to Thunderbirdnest for advice!
Your help will be much appreciated.
