I saw that Automobile had a blog on 55th Anniversary. Too bad Car and Driver didn't. They'd have seen lots of love for the retro bird (and not from platinum haired, poodle carrying women either).Comment

I wish they would get the numbers correct. The first year sold over 30,000. I think the 19,000 figure was for 2005.
