Also noticed that the car has no skirts which was an option of course. For '66 it was the first time for wheel well trim (SS) and with no skirts, the trim was put in the wheel well. Very hard to find today. Usually , but rarely, they were omited when the option 'deluxe wheel covers' were ordered which you have to give it a more sporty look.
Not sure if you are aware but the "factory invoice" is still available for that car if the previous owner has not already ordered it. Also, under the back seat or the backs of the back seat, you will find the ROT sheet (unless mice got in there to nest) which was what they used back in the day on the assembly line. It shows how the car came down the line and with what options. Also has the VIN that will match the car data plate and factory invoice.
