Taillight bezels

[T for 2]

Would like comments from anyone who purchased taillight covers. Why is there such a wide price differance from venders. T-Bird concepts wants $108.99 on sale. Delux chrome wants $39.99, both chrome plated plastic, and SAA wants $78.40 for polished stainless steel, both on e-bay. one other vender on e-bay wants $49.00 for plastic. ????

They are all chrome on plastic. I recently got a $49 set from eBay and they are as good as any of the others as far as I can tell. Many people are not good shoppers and will focus on a few select vendors and are willing to pay their price. As long as the vendors can sell them at the higher prices, they will.

I've never heard of the polished stainless steel ones before, they would probably be the best ones to buy as far as lasting a long time goes. Leroy

I payed 49 for mine on Ebay, and as far as what I have seen at different car shows and what I have heard,,, all the same...

If you go to e-bay motors,parts for 2002-2005 t-birds and scrool to page 10 you will find taillight covers from stainless automotive accs. from Edison N.J. made out of stainless steel. Not recommending them but it is another option.

I called the above mentioned co.,the gal answering did say they were S.S. with chrome .I still think there plastic with chrome as it would cost a small amount to make a template to press them and form them .For such a low personal item I don't think it would pay ,even if they come from China

I paid 98 on ebay but they came with chromed door handles as well. They look good on my WW t-bird

I don't think the SS ones have any plastic on them at all, just the adhesive on the back. The chrome ones are chrome plated plastic. Leroy
