On last night's show of Car Crazy they featured the Americana Car Show in New Zealand. An awsome display of American cars and the New Zealanders who owned them simply loved American iron and the ones shown were excellent. No telling where all American classics will show up.

Saw the Car Crazy show also from some of the stories the cars were shipped from the U.S. to the owners. Many left drivers wheels and some right side.
The T-Bird must be garaged as there didn't look like it had any bullet hole in it .

                  Dot

What I found interesting is that it appeared to have never been labeled a Thunderbird at all. Those "FORD" badges are exactly where the Thunderbird badges belong. Perhaps...FORD was a better name for the culture of that country. After all, they look and fit extremely well to be just thrown on there.

                  thanks!

The front emblem, in place of the crossed flags, is off an early 1960's F-100 6 cylinder pickup truck. I don't know what the Ford emblems on the rear quarter panels came off of, but I suspect a truck origin as well.

I've never seen a 292 emblem on the grille like that before.

The front emblem is definately off a Ford Truck circa around 1954. Left fender says 55 no air vent. But a 56 Continental Kit on the back.

Sure looks like it could use some TLC and a wash job.

Maybe Barry could send him some scratch remover, paint restorer and detailer.

                        Or not!

I guess you could call that a survior car? We won't be seeing that at Barrett Jackson soon.
