Before the war there were many wealthy, professional Iraqi families. Perhaps one of them imported the Thunderbird. It's funny, even strange but true. Iraq was once our ally.

Nice fitting hardtop!! I'll bet the owner doesn't worry about scuffing the real panel when the top is on. But at least it is the right color.

The rear end actually tells you that it's a 55. The exhaust of a 55 came thru the body, just under the trunk lid. One of the photos shows that the exhaust holes in the body have been covered up
