Best Looking Wheels for a 2004?

For all of you custom wheel people and or anyone who may have a set of OEM 7 spoke chrome rims, I am looking for 1. A good set of those OEM's, or photos of what you all have on the car that looks "bomb". I just bought an '04. It's a beauty, but I want to change out the turbine style wheels for a bit more flair. Help me out and thanks.

The most popular choice seems to be the Neiman Marcus wheels. You can find them on eBay all the time. Most people seem to like these.

OEM SEVEN SPOKE CHROME IS THE WAY TO GO. WATCH EBAY OR LOOK AROUND. THEY ARE EASIER TO WASH, FOURTEEN SIDES INSTEAD OF THIRTY-TWO.

This is my final selection for wheels for our 04. They are 19" . Our first set of 17" after market wheels can be seen in my gallery. I am reconditioning them and eventually will probably sell them.

OEM SEVEN SPOKE CHROME IS THE WAY TO GO. WATCH EBAY OR LOOK AROUND. THEY ARE EASIER TO WASH, FOURTEEN SIDES INSTEAD OF THIRTY-TWO.

I agree.......I'd take it a step further and suggest that a nice 5 spoke would be even better.

Very nice wheels but what caught my eye was the chrome on the rear bumper. I went to your gallery and found a good view along with the T-Bird
emblem on the rag top. I think these are two really great mods and would
appreciate any information on how they were done.

I agree. The horizontal strips on either side of the license plate look great. Also like the emblem on the ragtop. Nicely done, Roger!

It was one of my early experiments. I had Jeannie send me two of her largest embroidered Bird emblems on black fabric that I had provided her. I cut them out being careful not to cut too close to the thread of the design. I played with positions on the top and attached them with two-sided carpet tape. The ambient heat here in New Orleans was my worst problem. The emblems did not want to stay on the car after about four days. I did not have the guts to use a stronger glue. If I were to do it again I would have at least a 10" design and would find an adhesive that would hold but not leave a residue when removed. Other problem is the folding of of the design when the top is in the down position.

SEWING MIGHT CAUSE A LEAK, AND YOU WOULD HAVE TO TAKE THE HEADLINER LOOSE TO GET TO IT. BUT THAT WOULD BE THE BEST WAY.

The temporary application is actually not a bad idea if you plan on showing the car with the soft top. Slap them up for the car show (or other event) and then take them down after.
