I realize that opinions differ, but I don't like it. I believe the Thunderbird does not lend itself well to customizing. It was designed as a personal car of distinction and, as such, it was meant to be attractive without attracting. Bling and exotic paint jobs conflict with the style of the car. They look garish and detract from the overall effectiveness of the design. The Thunderbird has timeless appeal, in large measure because the elegance of the design is understated. The Mustang, on the other hand, was designed from the beginning to be customized. And that is the appeal of the Mustang--no two are alike. I'm merely stating an opinion here, and in no way is my opinion intended to disparage opposing views.
