    Thanks for that, now I will have to go and observe. Always something new to learn. Always have the windows all the way down and last thing I do after putting the top up.

      Just to say - we did our first long journey since this topic was raised yesterday.

      The "tap down" method worked a treat - could hear the talk on the radio again - then we got a stone chip on the windshield! Doh! £70 to fix and a £60 excess on the glass insurance - so its pay as you go for that one!

      August has been a dreadful wet month in the UK, but we also managed to get some top down mileage around Snowdonia, Harlech - and most surprisingly Ffestiniog - where it always rains
