Boot removal tool

Removal of the soft boot cover can be difficult because the snaps can tear the fabric. One of our members has invented a great tool which makes releasing the snaps easy and safe. I purchased a tool from him which he shipped promptly to me from Canada. I highly recommend his tool to everyone. His name is Geoff Fairfax and he can be reached at grfax@shaw.ca Removal and snapping in place can be facilitated by lubricating the snaps with vaseline.

I too have one of the little tools and it is highly recommended. The tool will certainly help in keeping the snaps from pulling out of the boot.

Do NOT use the tool. It WILL do strange things to your head while saving your boot. Soon, you will be wearing it as costume jewelry... and taking it to bling parties! See attached photo as proof.

Geoff's a nice guy. Be sure you add the necessary pinstripe that coordinates with your car (see picture).
