understand a great number of people on this forum are looking for an answer to a problem.....or have had a problem....so it seems our cars always have issues....there are 68000 retro birds out there.....and only a handful of thier owners here......dont let this forum tilt your view.....not everyone has issues.....my 04 has needed nothing but standard maint...buy one...DRIVE it........and enjoy

John, JMO too but there were more 02's made then any other year so they didn't want to cover all of those. I am one that hasn't had any problem up to this point with 70,000 plus miles on my car but others have. We can only go by the number of people that post here on the site, a small sampling, and comparing that to the number of Birds sold can't be done.

I put a CAI on mine and it seamed like it was kicking a$$.I drive it today and it's still the same cruiser.The Bird is not a snap your head vehicle .

As long as you get a BLACK one it doesn't matter 02 -05 . The BLACK ones are FASTER !
