  • Thank You to David A.

I had a nice trip to Nashville, TN yesterday, Sun 22 Aug and met a gentleman named David A. I had been looking for a Hard Top for the wifes (boss) 03 T-Bird and was able to purchase one from David...... He went above and beyond in explaining every detail I needed to know about the top, and helped me install it...... We, the "boss" and I, feel he was very fair about the price as others we had contacted had wanted quite a bit more........ We want to give David credit for being so fair, helpful, and willing to share his extensive knowledge......... Thank You, David......

I'm glad yo are happy with the top. I think it looks great on the Red Bird.

It was my pleasure meeting and helping you and I really hope you consider coming to a TBN event in the future. Other than perhaps GoBird and Ron, nearly everyone else is great and you'll really hoave fun with a terrific bunch of people.
Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9 Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

                    Carole,
Yes you have met the "Thee TBN Gentleman" ..As a lady I am sure you got a much better deal than he offered me. I had offered him $400 for the top when Bonnie and I were visiting him and Jeannie a couple weeks ago on a trip to Nashville to check out Jeannie's new '66 Tbird convertible. Of course since I am an OLD friend of his (we were there when he married Jeannie years ago and I remember a group of us gave him a wonderful set of sculptured, white gold valve stem caps for his '02 Bird). I thought he would for sure remember generous gesture and accept my $400 offer for his white hardtop with open arms....But no...no he decided to hold out.

Oh, by the way this is off topic, but I would like everyone to know I have a set of rare servo motors and power controls for a 1966 Ford Thunderbird convertible top for sale for $35 dollars. These are very very hard to find. I also have a full sequential turn signal system for a '66 Bird with all the wiring diagrams and am asking $15. I have a couple members interested in these items and don't know how long this offer can last.

                    DavidA's good friend,
                    Vinatage Merlot

                        Ron,
I am guessing "TBN's Mr. Gentleman" does not yet realize how rare the parts are since his car does not have them. He likely thinks the top is equipped with a manual mechanism from a '58 and that the tail lights have been modified by the previous owner to a two bulb system.
