Re: Thank You to David A.

Gosh, it is SO nice to have friends like y'all. GEESH!!

BTW, since Roger and Bonnie were here, we've noticed a lot of silverware missing, along with my TBird parts he's listed. I'm sure I'll see them again next time we are in New Orleans.

RON: Be honored that I put you in the same company as GoBird, although his memory may be starting to go. I don't remember the incident he referred to.

LOU: I'm not finished with you YET!!!

Julie: You still ain't heard real SCREAMING.

Yes you have met the "Thee TBN Gentleman" ..As a lady I am sure you got a much better deal than he offered me. I had offered him $400 for the top when Bonnie and I were visiting him and Jeannie a couple weeks ago on a trip to Nashville to check out Jeannie's new '66 Tbird convertible. Of course since I am an OLD friend of his (we were there when he married Jeannie years ago and I remember a group of us gave him a wonderful set of sculptured, white gold valve stem caps for his '02 Bird). I thought he would for sure remember generous gesture and accept my $400 offer for his white hardtop with open arms....But no...no he decided to hold out.

David, Yes It happened. I know this happened 7 years ago and your memory banks probably don't go back that far or it's just those cobwebs blocking it out.

It happened around May 9 2003 at a restaurant parking lot while we were at Thunder Valley. Here is what you posted on TBN back then "
and were told we had to move our cars to another area. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR " You were going to have a discussion with the guy that owned the parking lot, yea right, you were going to punch out his lights, but I stopped you and pulled you into the restaurant.

And that's the way it was, that day in history.

This is where we had to move to. http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/membe...cat=507&page=3

That is some pretty fast back pedaling for a bunny with big hairy feet.
