I bought the trim from Thunderbird Concepts and it looked great when I first put it on. It fix the rattling problem. Then I took it off the hardtop after a month. The trim took a beating from the Hardtop when it was on there. Now I have some buffing to do and trying getting the scratches out.

Do you have problems with this WIDER strip being too sharp on the edges? Is it a pain to install?

Any of the stainless strips should be lightly sanded just to make sure that you don't get cut polishing the car.

I have the original TBC stainless strips -- and it works wonderfully. There didn't seem to be jagged edges on mine at all. After taking the hardtop off from the winter months, it still looked great!

Put my new wider Cockpit Trim on the car 2 days ago and the chrome wrap around looks great. I did file off a sharp tip and made 1 adjustment where it fits around the mirror. Needed to be filed down just a tad. With 2 people it went on pain free. I love the look.

I bought the TBC stainless steel strips and installed them without any fuss. I sanded the edges largely because of the complaints about the edges being sharp. I didn't notice this issue, but sanded as a precaution.
