  • Wire Wheels

    Hi,

I would like to get wire wheels for my 04 T-Bird. Where is the best place to get them where they won't charge me an arm and a leg.

    Re: Wire Wheels

Thunderbird Concepts has them on sale for an arm and a half-a-leg. Works out to about $574 each.

I bought Daytons (have two sets) and if you call Dayton they will send you to one of their leading distributors that has good pricing. Mind you, I said good not cheap.

You can say that again. Back to the subject at hand. I bought a set of
Dayton wire wheels with Vogue whitewalls all like new from a fellow TBN member for $1,500. Beware of wheels on e-bay called Dayton style and
wheels that require inner tubes. So if you don't want to mortgage the
house bide your time and look for used. Check the classifieds on TBN my
wheels were there for two weeks I was shocked when I found out they
                were still available.

P.S. Whitewalls are a must with a black bird.

John, you are correct. Whitewalls on black just add to the retro look. My next addition will be whitewalls. Just not sure to go wire wheels.
